Direct trade, Source Ethically & Regenerative

Regeneration and people are so closely connected. We have always believed Bekoherent can – and should – positively impact the communities we work in. One person, one product, and one region at a time.

Niños Urbana

We have a massive commitment to creating a positive global social impact; we will be including more communities, ingredients and regions as we grow.

Our dream is that we will help inspire our partners, customers, suppliers, and neighbors to create positive change. Be innovators, role models, leaders, and contributors to an inclusive society and a healthy environment so that Bekoherent and everyone we touch can endure and thrive.

At Bekoherent, we’re aware that everything that we create has an impact on people and the planet. Regeneration and people are so closely connected, it’s important that our supply chain forms a big part of our regenerative strategy.

Direct Trade Partners

Our success is fully linked to the family farmers, the communities, and suppliers who grow and produce our ingredients and goods.

Offering 100% natural and innovative ingredients, we support the communities of these areas with regenerative livelihoods that include training and alternative sources of income, achieving the preservation and regeneration of this native species and its ecosystems.

With our project, we act on three fronts:

• Communities Development.

Copoazu Butter and other Amazonian Ingredients

In the Colombian Amazon, on the banks of the mythical Orinoco River in the middle of a beautiful ecosystem, trees of Theobroma Grandiflorum species, also known as Copoazu, grow wildly. Our project takes place around the Sarrapia community with 400 inhabitants, located in the Orinoco-Amazon transition zone of Colombia. The members of the Piaroa Indigenous community known as the jungle farmers currently seek to survive mainly through fishing and handcrafts in the Indigenous Reservation of the Mataven Forest.

Our allies for this project are The Kuawa Woraju Farmers Association of the Sarrapia community, Staterra Corporation, and the Amazonian Scientific Research Institute SINCHI. Together, we promote regenerative agricultural practices to reduce the deforestation rate and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
We promote the recovery of traditional techniques and recognition of indigenous communities' know-how through innovation and technology transfer, strengthening productive chains that promote their sovereignty and food security.

Todo el grupo
Our alliance promotes innovation in the Amazon production and value-added distribution systems, state-of-the-art technologies, characterization, and use of cultivated and forest species that will impact the country's new production chains, such as superfoods, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals.
By using regenerative systems, indigenous people can increase soil fertility and agricultural production, boosting produce availability for household consumption.
Copoazu
The fruit is not only originally delicious, but it also provides exceptional health and skin benefits.
Copoazu is known as 'the king of superfruits' due to its reputation and nutrient contents, with lots of omega fatty acids in addition to vital vitamins and nutrients such as B vitamins, flavonoids, calcium, amino acids, selenium, and at least nine antioxidants, including Vitamins A and C.

The Copoazu butter gets extracted through a cold-pressing process. Available in limited quantities due to its wild origin, it has many characteristics that make it unique. The amount of moisture copoazu provides when used in hair care formulas is unmatchable. The superfruit has a proven water-retention capacity of 240 percent of its weight! Cupoazu butter's moisturizing power is long-lasting and noticeably light; without leaving a heavy or oily residue, it keeps skin moisturized for up to eight hours after application. This moisture-rich benefit will help increase the skin's overall hydration for improved elasticity, treatment of injury or blemishes, and more.
